About me
Blending the worlds of economics, management, sustainable development, and the arts, Rim has cultivated expertise in subjects such as green logistics, green supply chain management, tourism, and sustainable business practices. Currently a Ph.D. student in Economics and Tourism at the University of Malaga, Spain (2023–present), her doctoral research focuses on sustainable tourism, particularly the role of AI adoption in the Green Smart tourism industry. Previously, she earned a Ph.D. in Economic Sciences, Management, and Sustainable Development from the University of Abdelmalek Essaadi in Morocco (2016–2020).
Rim has held various academic roles, including serving as an Adjunct professor at the University of Abdelmalek Essaadi, Tetouan, Morocco, since 2021, where she heads the Department of Transport and Logistics. She has also been a doctoral researcher at the University of Malaga (2019–2020) and Sivas Cumhuriyet University in Turkey (2018–2019), contributing to high-impact research projects in logistics and tourism.
In addition to her academic work, Rim is an accomplished author of the poetry collection Quill and the Hormonal Quiver (2025), a reflective and deeply emotional book that blends science with art. The collection explores the profound emotional and psychological effects of bodily hormones, offering a unique perspective on the intersection of biology and poetry. Through vibrant metaphors and contemplative verse, Rim’s work invites readers to explore a range of human experiences, from love and joy to pain and healing.
Rim’s research has been widely recognized and funded by institutions such as the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation (2023–present) and the National Centre for Scientific and Technical Research in Morocco (2016–2019). She has published numerous articles in high-impact journals and has presented her work at international conferences. Her commitment to advancing sustainable practices in tourism, logistics, and business is evident in both her academic research and her creative endeavors.
As the National President of the International Association on Public and Nonprofit Marketing (2022–present), Rim also advocates for sustainable practices in public policy and marketing. Her contributions to education and research continue to inspire both students and professionals across the globe.
